1. Agreement to these terms
By using this website, submitting an application, completing our onboarding packet, or clicking "Continue" at any step in our application or onboarding flow, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site, submit an application, or complete onboarding.
2. Communications consent — automated texts and calls
By submitting your application, you expressly consent to receive communications from Norcrest Insurance and its representatives at the phone number and email address you provide, including:
- Automated text messages (SMS), including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, about your application, interview confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, and related career opportunities
- Phone calls, including calls placed using automated dialing technology or prerecorded messages, regarding your application and interview
- Emails about your application status and next steps
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. You can opt out of all communications by emailing us at the contact address below. Consent to receive automated messages is not a condition of any purchase or of being considered for a position.
3. The application process
Our application collects basic contact information, licensing details, and your answers to screening questions. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Providing false or misleading information (including about licensure) may result in your application being rejected or an offer being withdrawn.
4. The onboarding & contracting process
If you accept a position, you'll be asked to complete a separate onboarding packet that collects sensitive information — including your Social Security Number, date of birth, home address, and prior carrier appointment history — that carriers require to process your appointments. By completing this packet, you:
- Confirm that all information you provide, including your SSN and prior carrier history, is accurate and complete
- Authorize Norcrest Insurance to submit this information to the insurance carriers named in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of processing your appointments
- Acknowledge that you have read and understand how this information is protected and used, as described in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy
- Understand that providing false information (including about prior carrier standing) may delay or prevent your appointment, or result in withdrawal of an offer
5. No guarantee of engagement
Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or any engagement with Norcrest Insurance. Positions discussed on this site are 1099 independent-contractor opportunities, not employment, unless expressly stated otherwise in a signed agreement.
6. Use of this site
You agree not to misuse this site — including submitting spam or automated applications, attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfering with the site's operation. You agree not to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information at any stage, including false statements about your licensure, NPN, or prior standing with any insurance carrier — doing so may violate applicable law and will result in immediate rejection or termination, and may be referred to the relevant carrier or a state insurance regulator where appropriate. All content, branding, and materials on this site belong to Norcrest Insurance and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Compliance with applicable law
You agree to use this site, and to provide any information you submit, in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including those governing insurance licensing, telemarketing (such as the TCPA), and unsolicited commercial email (such as CAN-SPAM).
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Norcrest Insurance, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your fraud, misrepresentation, or unauthorized use of this site or the application/onboarding process; (b) any information you submit that is false, inaccurate, or misleading; or (c) your violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable law. This section does not apply to claims arising from Norcrest Insurance's own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the site will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norcrest Insurance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, the application process, or the onboarding process, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount, if any, you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, or to claims arising from our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud, or to statutory damages that cannot lawfully be limited by contract.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
